MONTEREY BOARD OF HEALTH MEETING MINUTES
Date: May 16, 2016
Present: John Makuc, Roy Carwile, Julio Rodriguez and Peter Kolodziej
Also present: Kay Purcell, Peter Vallianos
The meeting began at 4:05pm
1. The minutes from 5/2/16 were approved.
2. Julio & Kay updated the Board on the progress at the Church property. Peter reported that while a lot has been cleaned up there is still a lot left to be cleaned up on the outside. The dumpster is scheduled to be removed tomorrow. Protective services have met with Ms. Church and have opened a case. The Board does have the option to condemn the property and this was discussed; Julio and Roy were in favor of this option as they didn’t feel there was any amount of coercion the Board could make that would entice Millie to continue the clean up. The Board unanimously agreed to have a show cause hearing once we have more information/assessment report from Elder Services.
3. The next meeting will be Monday, June 6th.
